Jonathan Thornton – Chief Financial Officer
Jonathan Thornton has been Chief Financial Officer since October 2017. Prior to joining Lincor, Mr. Thornton served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Development at TransCore, a Roper Technologies company. Mr. Thornton was responsible for strategic planning, M&A and financial initiatives that contributed to doubling the company’s size over a four-year period.
Prior to his eleven-year tenure with TransCore, Mr. Thornton was a management consultant with BearingPoint (now Deloitte Consulting) where he oversaw all aspects of client engagements and business development in the Global Strategy and Financial Advisory groups. Mr. Thornton began his career in the Financial Development program at Black & Decker. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from York College of Pennsylvania.
Kevin Forbes – Chief Technology Officer
Kevin Forbes joined Lincor as Chief Technology Officer in August, 2016. In Kevin’s twenty-five years in the information technology industry, he has aided a number of corporations in achieving the growth they were seeking through sophisticated enterprise architecture strategies. Most recently, as co-founder of MobiMedix, LLC, which created a powerful cloud platform to bring new capabilities to mHealth.
Kevin’s work in enterprise architecture has been recognized for innovative approaches. Due in large part to his strategy and architecture achievements, Healthways and Broadcast Music received recognition on the Information Week 500 list. Kevin has delivered more than sixty major presentations at forums such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Gartner and Info World conferences.
Rick Carpani – Chief Operating Officer
Rick serves as Lincor’s Executive Vice President Global Client Services where he oversees the company’s operations and customer care programs, focusing on differentiating Lincor through superior customer service. Rick brings a broad and diverse operational background from both the private and public sector. He previously served as Lincor’s Vice President North American Operations. Rick received his B.S. Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Ill.

Gregg Michaelson, Chairman of the Board
Gregg is an Operating Partner at Edison Partners and leads the firm’s Healthcare IT practice. Gregg is also a member of the Marketing Technology team and advises many portfolio companies on scaling operations. With 20+ years of senior-level operating experience in the healthcare and media industries, Gregg has established a strong and consistent track record of developing and executing innovative business strategies that deliver bottom line results. Previously, Gregg has served as CEO of Linkwell Health, a leading consumer engagement company in the healthcare industry and President and CMO of Rodale, a global media business.
Lenard is responsible for co-leading Edison Venture’s investments in Healthcare IT companies and is active in the mid-Atlantic venture community serving as a board member for the Virginia’s Center for Innovation and Technology. He is also a member of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA), Deloitte & Touche Technology, the Greater Baltimore Technology Council, and the Northern Virginia Technology Council. Lenard began his career at IBM where he worked as a Financial Analyst for IBM Global Services, overseeing a budget of $80 million and partnering with international locations to decrease the project costs of IBM Global Services West. Prior to this, as Manager of B2C Implementations for Princeton eCom, he oversaw one of the largest joint ventures in the company’s history. Lenard also worked in healthcare investment banking for Wachovia Securities.
Dick is a member of the Edison Director Network and brings a strong track record of significant technology and business expertise to the board. During a 25 year career with IBM Dick held senior management positions in many areas including IT and Quality Assurance. In 1993 Dick managed the sale of IBM’s $60 million revenue MAPICS business and its integration into Marcam where he was General manager of the MAPICS Business Unit. In 1997, Dick led the complex reverse spin-out from Marcam, and served as President and CEO of MAPICS inc until 2005.In 2004 he managed the process which saw MAPICS taken Private in an all cash transaction by Infor.
Dan Byrne (Co-Founder)
Dan brings over 25 years of senior management experience in the IT industry and has been providing strategic leadership to the Lincor management team since co-founding the company in 2003 with Pat O’Donnell and Enda Murphy. As part of Dan’s distinguished international career he was senior director of Apple’s European Operations based in Paris, France before moving to California to become a worldwide VP for Apple Inc. After Apple he was VP of European Operations for Digital’s Personal Computer Division. Today, apart from Lincor, Dan is Chairman of a number of other technology companies based in Ireland.
Jonathan R. Phillips
Mr. Jonathan R. Phillips, also known as Jon, is the Managing Director and Head of Private Equity at First Trust Capital Partners, LLC. Mr. Philips founded Healthcare Growth Partners, LLC in 2005 and has been its Managing Director since 2005 and also serves as its Partner. Mr. Phillips is the Managing Partner at First Health Capital Partners. He has over two decades of experience providing financial advisory and strategic consulting services to leading healthcare organizations.
Lou Silverman has a 15 year track record of success as CEO in health care information technology and health care services companies, translating a passion for the transformative benefits of innovative health care solutions into successful clinical and commercial organizations. His experience in building nimble companies that enable high quality care, drive intelligent growth and serve as catalysts for evolutionary industry change is at the heart of his vision for Advanced ICU Care. Silverman has committed Advanced ICU Care to working innovatively and collaboratively with its hospital partners and their bedside teams to bring the promise and positive outcomes of tele-ICU and telehealth services to the patients and families we jointly serve.
Prior to joining Advanced ICU Care, Silverman ’s deep experience with innovative health companies, each among the early leaders in pioneering new HCIT and health care services markets, informs Advanced ICU Care’s focus. Pursuing a strategy of building organizations designed to deliver sustained success, Advanced ICU Care is continually investing and reinvesting in its clients, staff and infrastructure to ensure continued innovation and ongoing sector leadership. During his tenure at two of his prior companies, Silverman’s companies were named to Forbes Magazine’s list of 200 Best Small Public Companies for a total of 15 consecutive years.
In addition to his leadership role at Advanced ICU Care, Silverman serves on the board of directors for a variety of health care-related companies, both public and private. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA in American Studies (cum laude) from Amherst College.
